Flavonoids are the health phenomenon waiting to happen. Locked up in the peels we throw away, Defugo is extracting and inserting into healthy juices, fibers and other supplements.
Defugo has completed extraction testing and stabilization of flavonoids in both fruits and vegetables. Flavonoids have been shown to promote brain health. Defugo intends to bring out a range of children's products and aged care products using this process. Detailed testing has been completed on a wide array of fruits and vegetables. As such the CCE technology can be applied to other fruits such as pears and oranges and vegetables like carrots and beets with the same level of extraction and yield.
